A festive glossy red makes this cake a candidate for Christmas wedding cake designs. Pointy poinsettia leaves can replace the embroidery-like flowers. The showy red parts of the Poinsettias we commonly thought of as blossoms are actually called bracts or modified leaves.

Let it show! let it show! let it show! The “ber” months are here and a few cuddly couples are already dreaming of a white wedding. Well, the cake featured in this post is perfect for a showgirl party but it’s georgeous red color, crystal monogram topping, and pearl borders also evokes images of luxurious Christmas weddings with Santa. The chocolate cupcakes also reminds of  the jolly fellow’s little elves.

Sans the ostrich feathers, it can stand proud beside other Christmas wedding cake designs. BTW, the song “Let it snow!” is actually a pop love song and not once did it mention Christmas.

Somebody shouts “autumn!” What colors come to mind? Orange and warm yellow. The featured wedding cake was supposedly themed after a famous painting but we say its lovely colors of various shades of orange will make it fit right in with autumn or fall themed weddings. The orange swirls and vertical stripes in caramel and black lend it an elegant air. It’s apple spice with caramel mousse filling.
